1-day Double Upper Gauley

Experience the thrill of the Upper Gauley, twice in one day. You'd be hard pressed to pack more adrenaline into one day of rafting. We get out bright and early to beat the crowd, powering through the "big five" before heading back up to Summersville Dam to do it again. This time you'll know what's coming, but it won't be any less exciting! Prior rafting experience and good physical condition recommended. Available Friday, Sunday and Monday during Fall Gauley season.

1-day High Endurance Marathon

100+ rapids and 26 miles of Gauley in one day. Yes- read that again. Remember, pain is just weakness leaving the body.

1-day Lower Gauley

Laying out medium-sized smackdowns for 30 years, the Lower is just challenging enough to be called “Gauley”. Bring a first-timer and watch them turn into a river runner before your very eyes. This is just big, fun whitewater, all day long.

1-day Spring/Summer Gauley

O.K., so Gauley season is in the fall, but what about running it out-of-season? We do it all the time. Water levels change a lot, so we plan the section of Gauley and the type of craft we’ll take (raft or inflatable kayak) on the day of the trip. It’s a chance to paddle the G that very few will ever get.

Dueling Rivers

You’re limited to 3 Deliverance jokes for the whole trip, so use them wisely. Day 1 on the Lower New, and day 2 on the Gauley. If you hear banjos, paddle faster. April 1 through September 9.

Fall Triple Play

Take it up a notch with each day. The first day is the Lower New, then on day 2 do the Lower Gauley, then on day 3 the Upper Gauley. (If you have a serious white water addiction, please seek help. Or book this trip.)

Gauley Double Upper Overnight

Hit the Upper, camp on the gorge, then hit the Upper again. Just don’t let it hit you back. Meals are three things: huge, delicious, and included.

Gauley River Boatload Package

Bring a group of up to 8 friends, family, or co-workers and get your own raft on the Lower Gauley (we’ll be providing a guide, of course- we’d like the boat back at the end of the day :-)

Gauley River Overnight

It’s 2 days on the Gauley, with camping on the rim of the gorge in-between. Of course, we do all the meals, the guiding, and generally take care of things. Hey, that’s just the kind of Songer we are. Upper on day 1, Lower on day 2.

Reverse Gauley Overnight

Want to really get your group ready for the challenges of the Upper Gauley? Do the Lower the first day, and the Upper on the second. Two nights of camping back at Songer plus 2 river lunches, dinner, and breakfast- get yourself reversed!

The Upper Gauley 1 Day

Hands down, one of the coolest whitewater trips in the world. More than 60 rapids, including 5 class Vs. It’s a good idea to have some whitewater experience already before you go on this one, know what we’re sayin’?
