The heat has taken a break from the mountain state giving us a feeling of Fall. These last few weeks of August are a great time to raft the New River where you will find slightly cooler air temperatures and really warm river water. August is our “Family Fun Month” where we offer a 10% discount off the regular rates.
I am soooo looking forward to the Songer 30th Birthday Party!! On August 25th we will have free rafting for anyone who has rafted with Songer Whitewater 10 times or more and a free pig roast. We will also have a pig roast for anyone to reserve for $14 per person, a free t-shirt (while supplies last) and Songer Olympics for everyone. It is a great time in the season to enjoy the company of those that have made Songer what it is today. I can not wait—Songer Olympics are hilarious!
Just to keep you posted, there are deluxe cabins available every weekend in Gauley Season if anyone would like to exchange their tent for a hot tub and bed!
