Reservation Information
We strongly suggest that you make your reservations as far in advance as possible. This will help to ensure that you receive the dates you wish. Many of our river trips book far in advance, so please plan accordingly.
Reservations
This is the really easy part! Just call us toll-free, 1-800-356-7238, or use our secure server to make online reservations by visiting www.songerwhitewater.com/online-reservations-request.php and we'll do the rest! Keep in mind that weekends and holidays fill-up very quickly, so call well in advance. Be sure to also have an alternate date in mind, just in case. Walk-ins are welcome, but we cannot guarantee you a trip.
Please add 6% sales tax and .50 (per person per day) WV user fee to all rates. Prices subject to change without notice. 3% motel tax will also be added if applicable.
Online Reservations
You can make your reservations with complete confidence using our certified secure server. Reserve any of our adventures and submit payment online from the convenience of your home or office www.songerwhitewater.com/online-reservations-request.php.
Payments
After you make your reservations, we will send you an invoice and will hold your reservation for 14 days. During this time we need to receive your deposit of half of the total price. If deposit payment is not received on time, your reservation may be canceled and spaces resold first-come, first-serve.
New River
21 days prior, or upon booking (if made less than 21 days prior to trip date).
Gauley River
by July 1st, or upon booking (if made after July 1st).
We accept personal or company checks (with 21 days or more to trip date), money order or cashiers check. Payment may also be made with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover (Novus).
Cancellations
The West Virginia Department of Natural Resources has set specific boundaries regarding use of our rivers, which limits the number of people we can run daily on each river. This often means we must turn away business we cannot legally accommodate. Please also understand that much of our expense is incurred prior to your trip date. For these basic reasons, our cancellation fees and refund policies are as follows:
New River
- 21 days or more prior to trip date:
- $15.00 cancel fee per person, per rafting day with balance refunded or rainchecked
- 20 days - 7 days prior to trip date:
- $25.00 cancel fee per person, per rafting day with balance RAINCHECKED ONLY.
- Less than 7 days prior to trip date:
- NO REFUNDS OR RAINCHECKS.
Gauley River
- 45 days or more prior to trip date:
- $35.00 cancel fee per person, per rafting day with balance RAINCHECKED ONLY.
- Less than 45 days prior to trip date:
- NO REFUNDS OR RAINCHECKS.
In case of last minute proven medical emergencies, with prior notification, we will issue a raincheck, less cancel fee. No cash will be refunded. Rainchecks will be good for one year.
Packages: Fees collected for other vendors/facilities are subject to the specific vendor's cancellation policies.
